Needle Systems

Needle systems for Ostling Dot Peen (Needle Embossing) machines

With dot peening, materials are marked using a carbide tipped tool (needle) that oscillates through compressed air application and moves in an X and Y direction during its upward and downward movements. This results in a dense sequence of individual dots (writing) being punched into the material. The results are a very precise, clean mark appearing as a fine continuous line – also at a very high speed compared to electro magnetic systems.

Our needle systems are high quality, our long service parts being manufactured at our HQ in Germany.

Please contact our service department if you have any questions about our needle systems and/or are not sure which needle suits best.
