Electrolytic marking…..

is based on an electrochemical etching process where the image of a stencil is transferred to an electrically conductive product by the action of electrolyte (saline solution) and electricity.

Electrolytic marking is durable, cheap, easy and precise.

The exact copy of a template is applied to an electrically conductive item, the current and electrolyte react with each other to produce a mark.

Depending on the source material and the current flow, the results are black, white or deep – without corrosion or any other negative effects on the material. The graphic design possibilities are almost unlimited. Our  electrolytes are appropriate for most marking applications but we are also able to deliver many special electrolytes for custom applications – from our own production based in the UK. Electrolytic marking is perfect for manufacturers who produce high quality tools, cutlery, tubes, valves and many more because of its clean, clear and durable marks.
